Colin Hirano

​Colin obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Lethbridge and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from University of Western Ontario in 2015. He practiced at a large regional law firm in his hometown of Lethbridge from 2016 to 2022. In 2023, he chose to move to Edmonton.

Colin is a solution-oriented lawyer that strives to ensure his clients achieve outcomes that are fair, timely and cost effective. If possible, Colin aims to resolves disputes through negations but is comfortable proceeding to litigation when required. Colin has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta and has successfully run several muti-day trials. Colin has also participated and been successful in a multi-day arbitration.

Colin’s practice relied heavily on the support provided by his two dogs, Addy and Thud. These two are purebred Lawbradors and are licensed para-beagles. Both have extensive experience with conflict resolution (mostly between each other). If requested, Thud is happy to attend at the initial consultation.
